Why does the ADITION technologies use cookies?
ADITION uses cookies to manage and optimise the display of advertising materials that are placed by ADITION clients for the user. For example, this applies to the maximum display frequency of advertising media that is visible to the user. Furthermore, ADITION uses stored cookie information for statistical purposes in individual cases.
What data is captured by the setting of ADITION cookies?
ADITION does not store any personal data like names, email addresses or other personal information with the setting of cookies. All information is made anonymous and contains technical information like display frequency and display date of advertising media, the browser used or the installed operating system.
How does ADITION address the topic of data security?
ADITION operates all processes of data collection in strict conformance with German data privacy laws. All stored information is saved on servers within the borders of Germany. Furthermore, ADITION fulfills all P3P (Privacy Preferences Project) requirements. ADITION also emphasises that all ADITION employees are bound to comply with data confidentiality. The clients of ADITION are also informed about these regulations in the general terms and conditions.
Cookie OptOut / How can I deactivate the collection of anonymised data by ADITION?
When you click on the following link, the collection of anonymised data will be stopped. In this case, ADITION replaces the current cookie with a new OptOut cookie. This OptOut cookie deletes all prior saved information, including the IP address, and prevents any further collection of anonymised information.
IMPORTANT: When this OptOut cookie is deleted, ADITION cannot determine if an OptOut has taken place. The OptOut procedure must be repeated in this case:

How can I completely disable the cookies?
The currently popular Internet browsers are set by default to generally accept cookies. This setting can be changed through the respective Internet options of the browser.
